COMBINING SCIENCE & ART FOR A BETTER WORLD
Humanity faces scientific challenges more than ever. Climate change, food security and emerging diseases are three of the most critical issues impacting communities. We need unprecedented cooperation to tackle these complex issues.
However, securing funding for research is not a simple task, especially when establishing new collaborative research programs. Whim aims at selling cryptoart (NFTs) to create a new fund that would financially support science. The Fund will support the creation of a new research institute on plant cells while also financially contributing to the artistic community with the Whim Memory Board.

I am a plant scientist, and I truly believe in open science and collaborative research. My interests are driven by fundamental sciences, mostly related to the cellular and molecular biology of plant cells.
I pursue collective knowledge, and collaborative science is at the heart of my strategy to find revolutionary solutions for urgent problems facing today’s societies, including climate change, food security and emerging diseases.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH A WHIM MINDSET?
ACCESS THE WHIM MEMORY BOARD
Owners of Whim mindsets will be able to upload their memories onto the Whim Memory Board. The Board will contain 10,000 memories associated with each Whim mindset.
Once the Board is completed and contains 10,000 memories, it will be sold as a single NFT (auction). Funds raised from the sale will be 100% distributed to support artistic initiatives! Whim mindset owners will decide how the money is distributed through a voting system.

- Write your memory associated with the Whim.
- Select your charity and press send to share. That’s it! Your memory will be shared on Whim’s social media accounts.

Whim mindsets #0001 to #9800 can be claimed by anyone on OpenSea (make offer). Mindsets #9801 to #10000 are reserved for the Whim Project to support the developers and the community.
How have colours been selected?
Colours have been randomly generated by a program.
